Project ASK (Association for the Support of Children with Cancer) is the FBLA state service project where an association of parents, health professionals, and concerned residents work together to help children diagnosed with cancer. Through the help of FBLA, they are able to run diagnostic studies as well as provide emotional and financial support for families with children that have cancer. ASK- is a great way for local chapters to give back to the community. Every little donation and helping hand can greatly contribute to this cause.

Students in FBLA also volunteer to keep the school's adjacent street clean through the Adopt-A-Highway program. The first
Saturday of every month, students spend a couple of hours
picking up litter. This is a great opportunity for FBLA members to give back to there community. Students meet infront of the school at 9:00 am by the flag pole. This is one of the most popular FBLA events at Centreville HS, so make sure you come and participate.
Refreshments are served after the event.
FBLA members do ten enviormnetal activities which teach them the importance of a clean enviornment, and gives them an opportunity to take care of their enviornment. The project has two parts. The first part is comprised of ten service, educational, and progressional activities which have to be completed. For the second part of the project chapters are to plan and conduct a “Go Green Project” of their choice (they may either expand upon one of the activities in Part I or plan another project) . After the completion of the project, prepare a 500 word summary. Projects must include both a service and an educational component and must promote environmental awareness.
