Chris and about 40 dancers in street clothes emerged from the Today show crowd and gave viewers an awesome show. Chris, looking great in a peace sign-covered sweatshirt and a backwards cap, appeared to be having so much fun as the crowd went wild. Speaking of going wild, Matt Lauer and Savanna Guthrie looked like they were having the best time out of anyone!Chris and his dancers boogied to “Fine China,” his first single off his upcoming album, X, which he had promised to release later today on Apr. 1. But he’s never one to stick to a plan, and after all it is April Fool’s Day! We’re thrilled that Chris decided to mix things up, because this was a once in a lifetime moment.The song is smooth R&B with a flavor of old school groove a la Prince and Michael Jackson. We only got a snippet of the song but we definitely liked what we heard!Stay tuned for 9 AM, when Chris will release the full song on MTV.

Breezy, who recently revealed multiple metaphors in naming his upcoming album, X, says that CBE means more than just Chris Brown Entertainment. It’s Culture Beyond Your Evolution and/or Culture Beyond Your Experience.“I always use the metaphors and the different meanings. I like to be weird like that,” he says.

Chris Brown is in a Burbank studio previewing his forthcoming album, and pushing the reset button on a career bogged down by scandal. The embattled R&B singer takes a lengthy drag off his cigarette before pressing "play" on the title track of "X," his sixth disc, due out in late summer."For this album you get a chance to take a journey with me and listen to every dynamic of who I am, whether it be the subject matter or the substance in the records," Brown says. "I've been doing this for eight years, but now it's me trying to prove another point. It's not as much as me wanting to prove to naysayers, it's more of me proving to my fans."

What a difference four years makes.The most talked about moment of the 55th Grammy Awards took place in the audience as Chris Brown, 23, and Rihanna, 24, were spotted smiling and cuddling.The two walked the red carpet separately but once inside the Staples Center, Brown and Rihanna got cozy. Rihanna, decked out in a red dress, was photographed leaning her head on Brown’s shoulder with a huge smile. The two lovebirds have come a long way in just four years.On the eve of the 2009 Grammys, Brown assaulted Rihanna, whose bruised face became a tabloid fixture.Last Wednesday, Brown appeared in court to face accusations that he violated his probation by submitting false community service records in connection with his sentence for assaulting Rihanna. Rihanna stuck by her man and showed up in court with him.In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Rihanna said dating Brown makes her happy and “if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake.” In other Grammys-related news, the ongoing feud between Brown and R&B star Frank Ocean took another interesting turn. While Ocean was walking to the stage to collect the award for best urban contemporary album, the entire crowd gave him a standing ovation – except Brown. Brown’s album ‘Fortune’ was nominated in the same category.
