Welcome To Destiny Bungie's new child, Destiny, is poised to be the biggest game changer for the FPS Genre as we know it. Being the world's first shared-world-shooter, Destiny is setting out to be the most ambitious shooter out there. fusing classic Bungie shooter mechanics with more MMO stylistic elements for their worlds. The enemies are trying to stamp out humanity for good and it's going to be your job to stop them.
Our Mission: Reclaim What Is Ours Humanity was propelled into the Golden Age; a time when our technology far surpassed our expectations, allowing us to create amazing things and colonize other worlds. This was due to the white object that hovers over us; we call it, The Traveller. But then, the Darkness came, and anything we had, was all but lost. Your mission, is to protect the Last City on Earth, and to venture out and reclaim what is ours.
Classes of Destiny In Destiny, there are three classes for you to choose from. Will you be the Hunter, who takes big risks for even bigger rewards? Or will you be the Titan, whose kind have defended the Wall for generations? Or will you play as the Warlock, who studies the Traveller to unlock the secrets of its power? The choice is yours, Guardian.
Character Customization In Destiny, your armor is the symbol of where you've been, what you've done, and who you've defeated. You can customize your armor; helmet, chestplate, shoulder armor, legs, arms, capes or cloaks, badges, and bands. You can also customize your personal vehicle and your personal spaceship as well! If you're going to be the hero, you'd want to look the part too, right?
The Enemies In Destiny, there are four main factions that are trying to kill you and wipe out humanity for good. The Fallen are alien beings with a mysterious past. The Hive are space zombies with some form of hierarchal order. The Cabal are a militant race that will crush anything that stands in their way. The Vex are mysterious, time-traversing robots whose origins are unknown. Four factions, more targets for you!
The Arsenal There are many enemies to face in Destiny, and all of them pose a major threat if you're inadequately equipped. Thankfully, there is an arsenal of shiny, powerful weaponry at your disposal. From assault rifles and hand cannons, to fusion rifles, to shotguns, snipers, rocket launchers, and light machine guns, the choice is yours.
Supers This isthe fun part! Supers are basically your class's super power. These powers can either be offensive or defensive depending on how you wish to play. Each of the supers has a purpose; the Hunter's Golden Gun is used to dispatch enemies in one or two hits. The Titan's ground pound sends enemies flying into the air! The Warlock's Nova Bomb eviserates anything that is in it's area of effect.
